The Bataan Memorial Death March

WPAOG is seeking funds to support a team of five cadets who wish to participate and compete in the annual Bataan Memorial Death March in White Sands Missile Range. They are hoping to represent both West Point and the US Army at an event that means a great deal to many World War II veterans and their families. Donations will go directly to registration fees, travel, and lodging for the cadets.

Why the Death March?

This event puts into perspective the sacrifice that many American and Filipino soldiers had to endure over the course of the Bataan Death March. Participating in the 26.2 mile ruck alongside soldiers from every unit in the US Army would help to prepare the team of cadets for their futures as officers our nation's military.
